What is it about Sunday mornings that are peaceful? Saturdays are great because you have the whole week end ahead but there is always things to do; shopping, gymming, sport, cleaning (well tidying up maybe) and so on. But Sunday is just peaceful.
So being a peaceful Sunday I have finally decided to sit and catch up with my blog. I always have such great intentions but time gets away from me. I can't believe that it is already a Sunday in February, what happened to January?
This last week saw everyone back at school after our TET break, unfortunately Josh and I both had a vomiting virus for two days so that made it a short work week. Mikaela is getting organised for her last Semester at school. She has done a great job of timetabling her study and note making sessions in preparation for her mock exams, which should allow her to be thoroughly prepared for these exams. Poor Bella had a touch of our stomach virus and has now got a cold as well, that together with just having her braces tightened she is far from her usual cheerful self.
Friday saw the arrival of Dave and Robyn friends from home, which is always good. Matthew has been showing them all the major tourist attractions; this morning he is showing them the beauticians where he has his massages.
Last night we went into the city which unfortunately is no longer beautifully lit up like it was before TET, we had a lovely Vietnamese dinner then headed off to walk around the night markets, which though a tad boring now is still fun for new comers.
Thinking back over 2012 so far there are so many times I have sat down to write about our exciting adventures only to get side tracked; I think my last post was heading into New York City. Why is it I never seem to write about the exciting things we do but rather I write about the mundane? I am going to post this and then sit and finish writing about our amazing time in the States or maybe I’ll write about how wonderful it was to see my family during TET when I flew home or maybe even write about how excited Josh was to see his friends the Russo’s and the Colonelli’s or maybe I will go and have a bowl of Pho and think about it.
